Eyes Wide Shut

So I stumbled upon this fun discovery the other night. . .

Who better to have sculpted into porcelain(I think it's porcelain) than YOU? :)

It's called The Life-Like Project:Life Sculptures by Herrera Gianino

The sculptors name is Jose Luis Herrera Gianino, and he kindly allowed me to photograph him while he worked.

Exploring

On my last day off, I decided to go exploring with my camera. I wanted to dedicate the whole day to taking photos. And even if I only took one photo that I loved, it would make the whole day worth it.

Here's a few of them. . .

This one was my favourite of the day. The man was so peaceful there, hardly moving at all, fitting in perfectly with his environment. The bars bothered me at first, but I liked the feeling of separation and being apart from the outer reality of the city. . .and the sense of us being outside his peaceful world.

I've realised a pattern with these images. Architecture, Person, Architecture, Person. . .hmmmm what does it mean??? o.O

2NE1 UPDATE

Make-up can really do WONDERS!

But to be fair, I'm sure they found the worst pictures possible of the girls to put together.
I'd probably look worse than they do after waking up in the morning!
We are all human. . .but. . .it is fun to see the drastic change make-up and clothes can make! :3



2NE1 have recently released a new music video for their track 'It Hurts'.
And although the fairytale/scarytale fashion trend is a few seasons past, I can't help but love the set design and styling for the video.

Clear My Mind

So today there was a tube strike.

You can already guess what kind of mood that put me in.

I get to work at 4:10pm after being on the bus for over an hour.

First thing I hear is that the work I did the night before was "lousy".

This didn't help my mood.

Why am I working in a Mexican fast food restaurant?? This isn't what I want. This was nowhere in my dreams or ever part of my answer whenever people would ask; "What's your dream job?"

I needed to get out. I needed to leave and clear my mind. . .get back to myself.

I left work by 7.

I wandered the streets aimlessly, trying to reach some sort of calm.

Is Christmas here already? It is in Covent Garden.

After taking some photos, I felt somewhat at ease. I needed that.
