River Island Launch Branded Collection Of Sunglasses

River Island has launched their first ever branded collection of sunglasses for their menswear department. The collection is branded ‘Crooked Soul’ and will initially consist of 3 pieces, each sold with a hard leatherette case and retailed at £24.99.

The collection consists of a tortoiseshell plastic visor, black plastic aviator and a gunmetal visor designed to offer a cohesive look. The pieces all have intricate antique metal detailing including a gothic dagger with a ribbon wrapped around, a gothic designed CS and a series of stylised crosses on each tip.

Sugar Rush

Occassionally, I see someone, and I feel the need to photograph them.
Today on my train journey, amongst a sea of people dressed in blacks, blues and grays, a splash of colour woke me up. Cuteness personified! If you know me at all, I am quite the fan of anime, manga and Harajuku style, and that is immediately what came to mind when seeing this young lady's outfit. Thumbs up to her and her sweet style~!

Beautiful Buildings

A few mobile snaps taken testerday afternoon while walking from Bank to Holborn.

London's beautiful architecture constantly amazes me. There's a consistent contrast between classical and modern structures, creating a beautiful mixture of past and present throughout the city.

Kiss-In

This evening, I attended a protest against homophobia, more particularly, an incident that occurred recently at the John Snow pub in Soho, London. Two gay men, on their first date, were thrown out of the pub for kissing. Unsurprisingly, many people have been riled up by this situation; with over 1,000 facebookers confirmed to have attended the rally, various bloggers and websites, and even the BBC publicizing the event. I could not miss this! The pub ended up closing early before the protest started....however we carried on outside the premises.

It is very unsettling knowing that crimes like this are happening, in Soho nonetheless! An area known to be gay-friendly. Something has to be done...starting with raising awareness. Please pass this on to others and help bring these acts of hatred to an end.
